Oh, Sarah. I'm so sorry. What a tough time for you. I'm glad that you're connecting to my story, but I'm very sorry to hear it at the same time. Hang in there, sister!

I'm a 29 year old who left my husband 3 days ago. This is the hardest time of my life and reading your daily ups and downs during the time of your own marriage is an inspiration. Every day I doubt my choice and want to do the easiest thing to make the pain go away and so finding a gem like this blog is very helpful. Thank you.

This was the evening that proved a great big, bloated, too intense, depressed, life can squeeze through the eye of the needle and burst out on the other side, but only if you are ready to let it.

Of course Lay Lady Lay with a giant orange moon rising over Dylan' head could probably trigger catharthis for almost anyone!

I distinctly remember pre-partying at that hotel after the drive straight from work, buying $100 worth of drink tickets at the ballpark right away, and nearly passing out in the field. Thankfully, I kept it together just long enough for Lay Lady Lay. Well worth the "ice-pick behind my left eye socket" style hangy for the drive home. At least I didn't decorate any ditches though. Good times.
