Greetings, friends! This site is coming up on its two-year anniversary this weekend. It’s been a real pleasure sharing my story and getting to know you all through comments, tweets, and guest posts. The topic remains so important to me, but as my own story moves further from the divorce experience—and my age, sadly, creeps further from my 20s—I struggle a bit to create fresh content. That’s where you come in! I’d love to keep the site going, but I need your help. Here are a few things you can do:
- Recruit readers. If you know someone in their 20s going through a divorce, send them the link.
- Submit guest posts. I have LOVED sharing other people’s stories here and will continue to do so. Don’t be afraid! I am happy to do some light editing, so don’t worry about submitting “perfect” writing (there’s no such thing anyway!). And you can totally be anonymous.
- Complete the quick survey at the end of this post to help me develop some upcoming content.
If you’ve been reading since I launched this as a “blogoir” two years ago, you know that my goal was to write a book. A couple months ago, I signed with a literary agent who is currently pitching my memoir, From Splitsville, With Love, to editors. I hope that we will find it the perfect publishing home!
Finally, abc News is running a story on “Nightline” tonight about women who get divorced young, and the authors of How Not to Marry the Wrong Guy are featured. I wrote a guest post for their blog a while back: “What I Learned From My Starter Marriage.”

what an AWESOME idea! I just shared some thoughts. happy almost blogoversary (and I must watch that Nightline ep! I did a blog for that author too!!)
Thanks! I can’t believe it’s been two years!
